You can help by:

a) Praying for the ministry and witness of our churches in Kununurra, Wyndham, and Oombulgurri.

b) Praying for the Bush Church Aid Society as it funds ministries in many isolated places across our nation.

c) Praying for our Mission Diocese of North West Australia. Many ministries across our vast Diocese are either self-funded, part or fully funded by friends, family, supporters, and former home churches of Church workers, and….

d) By praying that the gospel might sound forth with great power to change lives and even whole communities across the North West.

e) St. James Church building was built through the generous support of many people across Australia who responded to the “Outback Church Foundation” appeal of the late 1980’s. Some six churches were built across the vast outback of North West Australia, with St. James the last to be erected in 1991.

The Outback Church Foundation has recently been re-opened because God has been pleased to bless His work in the Diocese, and new initiatives need to be funded, while others need to be consolidated and seek to move forward.

Our Church is in a growth stage and the wonderful building that has served the congregation and the community so well, is now unable to cope with the demands being made upon it.

Our building is rectangular in shape with about 40% used as the Sanctuary for Worship Services and 60% used as a church hall and kitchen. Glass doors and panels separate the two areas.

The hall is now used for overflow from the Sanctuary while our children meet in a corner of the hall at the same time, which makes for an interesting time for all.

Plans for:
* a separate Children’s area,
* extensions to the Worship area, and
* housing for additional staff members

have been approved in principle by the Diocesan Council and will now be added to the new Outback Church Foundation list of projects.

While the congregation is growing in number, it is still an extremely transient area, and will remain that way (see Kununurra tab above). Ron is the only vocational clergyman in town and then only through the support of the Bush Church Aid Society.

Therefore, if you would like to donate towards the mission in the Wyndham/East Kimberley Shire and help us make our vision for the future a reality, donations can be made to:
